Surrounded by rainforest, Kalango Hotel is a charming, eco-friendly hotel which offers modern, stylish accommodation built around a striking, sunny pool deck. You’ll feel close to nature here, with lush gardens all around, and more than 5,000 square metres of woodland on your front doorstep.
The hotel’s swimming pool area is a knockout. By day, it’s the perfect way to cool off in the summer heat. By night, its colourful lights help to create a relaxed ambience. However, the pool isn’t not heated – something to keep in mind if you’re visiting during winter!
All rooms are well appointed, with air conditioning, cable TV, minibar and an in-room safe. Queen size beds with premium bedding and blackout curtains will ensure you sleep like a baby. Each has its own verandah or balcony, some even have a jacuzzi on the verandah – pure bliss. The accessible suite on the ground floor ensures that wheelchair users are well catered for. The décor is rustic-chic, with plenty of warm, earthy colours and timber features.
While the town can be reached on foot, we recommend driving if you’re planning to stay here. The parking is free. You’ll find it much easier to get around and explore Ilhabela’s many beaches, waterfalls and hiking trails.
Double rooms with verandah start at R$400 per night during low season (mid-December to March). During high season (mid-December to March) double rooms with verandah start at R$1,500 per night. During high season and on weekends there is a 2 night minimum stay.
