Pousada A Mangueira is an intimate, romantic hideaway, close to Moreré beach in Boipeba’s west. Comprised of nine bungalows, as well as a chic bar and restaurant, this contemporary pousada feels relaxed and private, combining excellent service with the tranquility of nature.

Each bungalow is spacious, light-filled and modern, with large glass doors, window shutters, four-poster beds, ceiling fans and mosquito nets. Each has its own private verandah. Relax in a hammock and watch the birds flitter about the lush gardens.

Breakfast is served on your private verandah each day – pure bliss. Wake up to freshly baked bread, homemade cakes and jam, eggs made to order. Fruit juices are also freshly squeezed from fruit picked straight from the garden.

Host Gary is happy to organise excursions to keep you busy for the day, whether you’re in the mood for boat trips or if you just want advice on nearby beaches to explore.

Once the sun sets, enjoy a caipirinha or a tasty meal in the pousada’s restaurant and bar, O Terraço. Chef Juan Carlos whips up imaginative dishes in the restaurant each night. Expect creative choices like sashimi, filet mignon crostini and Moroccan chicken.
