Pousada Capim Santo – a foodie’s delight

Whether you stay at Capim Santo or not, you’ll no doubt visit their restaurant while you’re in Trancoso. Tucked away in a quiet street near the quadrado, the menu features inventive Brazilian seafood dishes cooked to perfection. Live music, lush gardens, low lighting and an excellent wine list make this place a must.

Inside the accommodation at Capim Santo

All accommodations feel bright and breezy, with concrete floors, timber furnishings and large windows. They all feature an LCD cable TV with DVD player, air conditioning, a hair dryer and minibar. Premium rooms offer more space, as well as king and queen size beds, while the smaller apartments offer double beds.

Suites

There are three luxury suites. Two are located on the ground floor, which feature garden views from the private verandah. Upstairs there is one luxury suite offering views out to the sea. Enjoy a soak in your own private jacuzzi. Wake up feeling refreshed in your comfy king size bed.

There are five master suites, which are slightly smaller than the luxury suites – four on the ground floor, one upstairs. All offer garden views and king size beds.

There are five standard suites, all with queen size beds, verandahs with hammocks and views of the tropical gardens.

Bungalows

The standard bungalows are particularly spacious and come with king size canopy beds and private verandahs. They also feature fully equipped kitchens, plenty of living space and a bathroom with a jacuzzi.

There are two special bungalows which are slightly larger and have space for four guests. One has a garden view; the other, a view of the sea. Both have queen size beds.

Apartments

There are three standard apartments which are charming and airy. They come with double beds and their own verandah with a hammock. The special apartment is slightly larger and comes with a view of the ocean and a queen size bed.

Standard apartments start at R$430 per night and Bungalows at R$910 per night in low season (March – November) and Standard apartments start at R$630 per night and Bungalows at R$1,130 per night in high season (December – February) – 3 night minimum stay.
