Pousada do Bosque is a tranquil, swanky hideaway, surrounded by lush, tropical gardens. It’s less than a 10-minute walk from Trancoso’s quadrado (village square).

Wake up each morning to a tasty breakfast served on the verandah, including seasonal fruits, freshly squeezed juices with tapiocas and egg dishes made to order. Relax in the sunshine by the pool. Watch the birds come and go in the native trees, as you curl up in a hammock with a good book.

There are 3 types of suite available – standard, superior and luxury suites. All suites are air conditioned and include queen size beds. They also feature LCD TVs, DVD players, ceiling fans, in-room safes, hair dryers and balconies with their own hammock. Superior and luxury suites are more spacious and also have the option to accommodate up to 4 guests.

There’s free parking on site, but the pousada’s location means that Trancoso’s main attractions are close by on foot.

Superior suites start at R$373 per night. Deluxe suites from R$581 per night during high season (December to March and July).
