Less than 10 minutes’ stroll from Trancoso’s quadrado, Pousada Recanto do Sol is located on the town’s main street and features bungalows built around lush lawns, tropical gardens and a sunny pool deck.

There are three standards of accommodation at Pousada Recanto do Sol: standard, comfort and master suites. All rooms offer air conditioning, minibar and cable TV.

Master suites are located next to the pool, while comfort suites overlook the gardens. Both offer balconies and large double beds. The decor is light and breezy, with artworks and timber furnishings crafted by local artists.

Local bars and restaurants are at your doorstep, and you can also walk to Nativos beach in about 20 minutes. This is a great choice for couples, or for travellers who don’t have their own car – although there is parking on-site if you do.
