Pousada Riacho dos Cambucás is a rustic, cosy pousada located in Abraão, the main village of Ilha Grande. Tranquil and surrounded by nature, this pousada is just a five-minute walk from the village. Its rooms are built around a sunny timber deck with lush gardens. It’s ideal if you want to wake up to the sound of birds, be close to the buzz of the village but not immersed right within it. Timber decor, green ferns and views towards the surrounding mountains will certainly help you to relax and unwind.

Wake up each day to a tasty breakfast, which includes homemade cakes and breads, fresh fruits as well as yoghurts, cereals and eggs. A tasty afternoon tea is served daily as well. If you’re in the mood for some pampering, there’s a spa which offers a jacuzzi and massage treatments.

All rooms are light and breezy, offering balconies with hammocks, as well as air-conditioning, a fan, an in-room safe, TV, minibar and private bathroom with shower and hair dryer.

Standard rooms offer garden views and are rather snug, so if you’re bringing suitcases with you, you may feel cramped. Standard Plus rooms are located on the second floor – they’re more spacious, overlooking the mountains and the pousada gardens. Located on the ground floor, the Standard VIP room is the most spacious and private. It comes with its own jacuzzi, coffee maker and SKY cable TV.
