Room Details

Pousada Titas is tucked away in a sandy street in the heart of Barra Grande village. This buzzing enclave stands out due to its stylish outdoor restaurant, simply titled Mô. Its enchanting garden comes to life at night with fairy lights in the trees, and the sounds of soft music on the breeze and cocktails shaking.

Pousada Titas is cosy and rustic-chic. You’ll feel like you’ve been transported to a simpler life, but with all the creature comforts. Expect charming details like balcony balustrades made from beach driftwood. The garden has thatched umbrellas and timber deckchairs by the pool. There’s also the restaurant’s herb and vegetable garden to peruse. The interior décor is pared back but comfortable and stylish. Rooms have timber floors, colourful warm blankets, thatched roofs, handmade furniture and wooden window shutters.

The best rooms are those facing the pool, in particular those upstairs. There you’ll get more breeze and be away from the noise of the restaurant and the dust and sand of the village streets. Avoid the rooms behind the restaurant on the ground floor, as you may feel a bit hemmed in.

Dinner in the restaurant is a must. Expect gourmet twists on Brazilian favourites, like escondidinho (a deliciously heavy mix of mashed potato, cheese and sun-dried beef), arroz de polvo (octopus rice) or arroz com siri (rice with soft-shell crab). Wrap up the evening with a pina colada or a caipirinha by the pool.

Rooms (some fit up to 4 people) start at R$260 per night during low season (March – June), and in high season (January – February and mid-June to December) rooms start from R$330 per night.
