Pousada Villa Bahia is tucked away in a leafy residential street. It’s just 10-minutes’ stroll from the quadrado and 15 minutes’ walk from the beach. This pousada offers suites and bungalows built around lush gardens and a sunny outdoor swimming pool.

Wake up to a delicious Bahian breakfast. Devour savoury pastries, breads and cakes, jams, juices and fruits, as well as eggs and tapiocas cooked to order.

If you’re driving, the pousada offers private parking for guests. The neighbourhood is nice and quiet, ideal if you’re looking to relax, as the village can get noisy at night. You can also book a massage or a spa treatment too.

All rooms are light-filled and airy, with rustic-chic décor. They come with four-poster beds with mosquito nets, sunny, private verandahs with hammocks and views across the pousada’s lush, tropical gardens. All rooms are air conditioned and come with LCD TVs and minibar.

If you’re looking for space, the chalé is the pousada’s largest accommodation. It features a large living room downstairs, and a big, sunny bedroom upstairs, with views of the pool and gardens.
