This enchanting guesthouse is nestled in the historic diamond mining town of Lençóis, an ideal retreat from which to explore Chapada Diamantina National Park.

Pousada Vila Serrano offers 13 rooms and three chalets. Each individually decorated and designed with Feng Shui in mind, to create a peaceful environment. All rooms come with air conditioning, ceiling fans, televisions, fully-stocked refrigerators, private bathrooms and verandas with hammocks.

A breakfast buffet is served each morning in the cosy kitchen. Wake up to homemade bread and cheese and freshly baked cakes. There are also fresh tropical fruits, many of which are picked from the pousada’s garden.

Guests can enjoy free WiFi throughout, and if you’re arriving by bus, you’ll be picked up from the bus station free of charge. If you’re feeling peckish, the on-site bistro plates up burgers, fresh salads and local specialities, all prepared in-house by the chef.

No visit to the mountains is complete without curling up by the fireplace with a good book. The pousada has plenty to choose from in a range of languages. There are also yoga and pilates classes offered outdoors in the garden. Chris and his team will make sure you’re well looked after.
