Vilarejo is a small oasis in Barra Grande, Piauí, a collection of four modern, spacious bungalows built around a very inviting swimming pool, floral gardens and lush lawns.

If you’re coming to Barra Grande for a long stay, these bungalows are ideal. With fully equipped kitchens and spacious living rooms downstairs, they feel big enough to live in permanently. Upstairs you’ll find a giant bedroom complete with ensuite bathroom, cable TV, air-conditioning and a bar fridge. There’s a balcony so you can step outside and breathe in the sea breeze, while you take in the views over the sandy streets and swaying palm trees outside.

Vilarejo is located one street back from the village’s main strip. It’s close enough to the action, but it’s also incredibly peaceful too – the best of both worlds. If you’re travelling with pets, this pousada welcomes them with open arms. Breakfast is also served each morning inside your own bungalow – what a lovely personal touch!
