Oca Trancoso is located just a five-minute stroll from the Trancoso’s quadrado and 15-minutes from the beach. This cosy pousada features unfussy, snug rooms built around an inviting swimming pool and tropical garden.

Breakfast is served each morning in the breezy dining room next to the pool, and includes tapiocas, fresh fruit and omelettes made to order. The pousada has a number of gorgeous corners in which to relax during the day. You can read a book in a hammock, or have a snooze on the sofa by the pool in the outdoor living room.

If you’re looking for an intimate, beautifully decorated pousada that’s centrally located, Oca is ideal.

Inside the rooms

This pousada offers three standards of accommodation: the studio, the superior suites and the deluxe suites. Each room can accommodate two people.

All accommodations are air conditioned and come with queen size beds, cable TV, minibar and an in-room safe. The studio has its own private backyard, while the suites are either upstairs or downstairs.

Large windows let in the light and breeze and beds come with mosquito nets. The decor combines rustic charm with bright splashes of colour from textiles and the occasional floral display.
