This is definitely the best place to stay in Barreirinhas. Set on the riverbank, this place offers peace and quiet. But the bars, restaurants and shops are only 15 minutes walk and a pedestrian ferry away. It’s the ideal place to base yourself to explore Lençóis Maranhenses.

The intimate pousada only has four spacious and light bungalows. Each has rustic tiled floors, large beds, big bathrooms, air-conditioning, mosquito nets, fridges and cable TV.

Double rooms start at R$285 per night during low season (February – May and October – mid-December) and R$335 per night during high season (Mid-December to end of January and June – September).
