This pousada is best suited for travellers with their own transport, and is ideal for beach lovers, as it’s located close to the water. The buzz of the village quadrado is about a 10-minute drive away.
Wake up to a delicious breakfast, including tropical fruits, plus freshly baked bread and pastries, plus omelettes made to order. Spend the day in the pool or wander down to the beach bar on Nativos Beach. The hotel restaurant is open for lunch and dinner, serving guests either at the beach or by the pool. Expect Brazilian favourites, like seafood moqueca or shrimp bobo, as well as international dishes, like mushroom risotto.
Inside Villas de Trancoso
Villa Sky – the VIP villa
This luxurious two-storey beach villa is light, airy and spacious, surrounded by lush lawns and gardens. Downstairs, relax beneath the palm trees on the verandah, or enjoy a meal or a drink in the spacious, light-filled, living area.
Upstairs is the master suite, which has a king-size bed with a mosquito net, plus a jacuzzi and a deck which overlooks the garden, pool and beach.
The villa has two TVs, bluetooth speakers, a waterfall shower and an in-room safe. Elegant touches include daily housekeeping, premium toiletries, fluffy bathrobes and a Nespresso coffee machine.
One and two-bedroom villas
Located in the pousada’s gardens, these villas are spacious and romantic. One bedroom villas are ideal for couples, and can accommodate a maximum of three guests. Two bedroom villas feature extra living space and an extra bathroom, and can accommodate up to six.
Relax on a comfortable sofa or in a hammock on the private verandah. Wake up feeling refreshed in the large double canopy bed. Fluffy bathrobes, premium toiletries and a waterfall shower add to the sense of luxury. There’s also wi-fi, bluetooth speakers, hairdryers, mosquito nets and daily housekeeping.
Suites
Suites are slightly smaller than the villas, but still offers the same amenities – bathrooms with waterfall showers, comfy beds with mosquito nets, hammocks on the balcony with cosy places to sit. There’s wi-fi, TVs and bluetooth speakers, as well as hair dryers and premium toiletries.
Prices per night for low season (March – November) in 2019 are as follows: Suite: R$1,520, 1-bedroom villa: R$1,860, VIP Villa: R$3,550 and 2- bedroom villa: R$3,465.
Prices per night for high season (December – February) in 2019 are as follows: Suite: R$2,040, 1-bedroom villa: R$2,550, VIP villa: R$4,680 and 2-bedroom villa: R$4,590.
